Diethylene glycol tert-butyl ether (DETB) is an environmentally friendly solvent with low irritation, very low odor, low toxicity, low photochemical reactivity and other characteristics. It is mild to skin irritation, can be miscible with most organic solvents, can dissolve amino/nitro/alkyd/acrylic resins. Good compatibility with water, at room temperature (25℃) can be miscible with water. It is also a good surfactant, widely used in coating, ink, cleaning agent, fiber wetting agent, plasticizer, organic synthetic intermediates, paint removal agent, surfactant and other fields.

It is mainly used as solvent for coatings, printing inks, printing inks for seals, oils, resins, etc. It can also be used as metal detergent, paint remover, lubricant remover, automobile engine detergent, dry cleaning solvent, epoxy resin solvent. Used as a stabilizer for latex paint, a surface modification agent for high temperature baking enamel.

Cleaning agent: Suitable for cleaning agents, especially in systems requiring very low volatilization rates, such as wax removers and floor cleaners. It is a good coupling agent for grease and grease, and can be used as paint remover and animal grease remover.
